I was born in Taiwan, but raised in Brazil where I lived for thirty two years. In that beautiful tropical country I made two of the most important decisions of my life – to marry my wife Silvia who is a great partner as well as my “personal psychologist”, and to study medicine. After practicing medicine in Brazil for several years, my wife and I decided to move to the United States to be closer to the rest of our family, who had been living in this country for the last twenty years.
We have two adorable and very active children: Sophia and Gregory, who do not allow me to rest even on my days off! We love to spend quality family time together and enjoy simple things such as a fun movie or just a relaxing walk in the park. I personally enjoy playing video games, eating at good restaurants and working out at the gym.
Living in Phoenix for at least the three years of residency will be a very unique and exciting experience. I look forward to continue learning from my mentors and peers and to share our life experiences. I truly feel blessed for the opportunity to be a part of the Phoenix Baptist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.
