Amy Muminovic, D.O.

Undergraduate School: Arizona State University - B.S. Life Science
Medical School: Midwestern University - AZCOM
Clinical Interests: Community Medicine and Underserved Populations

Born in Central Illinois, my family moved to the Valley of the Sun when I was a high school freshman. I fell in love with medicine in a vocational nursing class at Peoria High- Go Panthers!! For twelve long years, I worked as a CNA and attended night classes until I proudly graduated from A.S.U.'s West Campus with a B.S. in Life Science/Cell Biology. I have two fantastic kids (ages 15 & 6) and a very patient husband who continually supported my dream of becoming a doctor. I attended medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine where I discovered a passion for community medicine and underserved populations.

Activism and action define my medical philosophy and my desire to serve as a family physician.

Outside the white coat, I’m just a mom at soccer practice, trying to figure out what to have for dinner and wondering when I will have time to get a manicure!
