Issadora Lara, M.D.

Undergraduate School:
Medical School: Universidad Autonoma de Baja California
Clinical Interests: Women’s Health, Patient education, and Pediatrics

Born and raised in Mexicali , Baja California Mexico both my parents, who are now retired dentists, have been my inspiration since childhood for the science field, but mostly by their example which determined my goals, helping the most in need.

Happily married to a loving and supportive husband who’s patience and love has made all the difference for this enduring journey of medicine. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, going to the gym, playing tennis, the beach, traveling and hopefully now that I begin my new life in Phoenix I can start playing golf.

I am a proud graduate of the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, located in  my hometown of Mexicali. My experience in medicine has been mostly with the underserved areas of Baja California, Mexico. A practice which I feel grateful and privileged at the same time to have experienced. My interests are Women’s Health, Patient education, and Pediatrics.

Hoping this coming 3 years at Phoenix Baptist Hospital, I can be the best I can be, serving others through science, and guided through Gods way. Striving to acquire all the knowledge necessary to be a good family physician but before all always searching in becoming a better human being every day.
